Safe, older horse needed NE GA-retirement home/light use

My neighbor is looking for an older horse between 14 -15.2 hands. She has a lovely set up with 12 acres, a two stall barn, round pen, and one other pony. Horse must be VERY safe and easy to deal with as she is older herself and timid. NO BAD HABITS PLEASE. Looking for something that she can ride around the pasture and lead her grand children around on. Need not be more then servicably sound for this light work. This is an excellent home for the lifetime of a horse. She can provide good vet referances etc. She does not have a truck and trailer so transport to her farm would be needed (and I am sure any potenial giver would like to see her place!)

Check out the horses that the GA Dept of Agriculture has up for adoption.
You can find them in the Market Bulletin or call the Dept of Ag or go online to see the list. Appys, Arabs (registered) and grade horses, all looking for homes and all near Athens.
