I have been asked to help place this horse. He is pasture boarded at my farm in Hurdle Mills, NC.

He is a mid-teen QH. 16.1, not stock horse looking at all. Bay w/socks and a blaze. Has the same face as the "life is good" horse. Easy keeper, likes his winter blankets. Gets along w/everyone in turnout but will be possessive of any horse he is paired up with so does not do as well in a group of three, better with one other horse or a group of four.

This horse has an old left hind muscle injury that has left him w/a hitch. He does work out of it if kept in consistent work. He has a mild case of shivers that mostly crops up if he is anxious. He is on extra sel/e and magox for that. Last year he had chips removed from both front fetlocks and he has DJD in them. He is due to be injected and it was recommended that he be kept on Adequan.

He is currently barefoot and pasture sound but IMO would need shoes to work, preferably natural balance shoes and a good farrier. YMMV. He is a forward horse, knows how to w/t/c and is a cute mover. No jumping due to fetlocks. He has not been in work for over a year. He ties, clips, is nervous about loading and hauling but will do it. I think with some work he could be a husband horse or a trail horse for a reasonably confident rider.

I'll try to get some pics for anyone interested.
