Does anyone know of an affordable stud/belly guard girth? I am looking for a short girth for my monoflap saddle.

Depends what you consider affordable. If you are willing to order from the UK, this one is quite reasonable: https://tacksales.co.uk/product/shires475ShortStudGuardGirth.html
Otherwise, you can buy the Dover belly guard to add to a girth for about $80.

I think the most important thing here is, if your horse is hitting himself in the belly, GET the girth, regardless of cost. That being said, try ebay. I inherited a beautiful (full length) County belly guard girth whose cost is some kind of astronomical $350 or something new. I sold it on ebay for $67, essentially unused. I'm sure you can get a no-brand one for a lot less. Your horse will thank you, I'm sure.
