Will be moving to the Stockton area in August and would like to get in touch with competitive trail and/or endurance riders nearby.
Where do you board your horses?
Where do you train?
Would you like to be a mentor to this newbie here?
For many reasons I want to make the transition from dressage and the occasional trailride to this new discipline but I know I have a lot to learn.
Also, "my" horse is not my horse yet, but if things work out (e.g. I find reasonable boarding, I find a group of people to ride with) - I hope to make the commitment and buy an Arab mare after a trial period in September. She is already very experienced on the trail so this would hopefully make the transition easier...
