Free JC registered mare with papers to good home. She is about 15.2h and 18 years old. Perfectly sound, no vices. Appears black, but is probably "black bay." Has thrown both black and bay babies for previous owner, so probably EEAa.
Lovely temperament, great ground manners, never "mareish", great for vet, farrier, and repro work; loads and hauls great. Nice feet, doesn't need shoes or any other maintenance.
Easy keeper, no vices, gets along with anyone in turnout, mares, geldings or babies; fine with being "boss" or lower in the pecking order, lives out 24/7 happily or stalls fine.
WONDERFUL MOTHER - would be a great fit for a farm needing a resident nurse mare or weanling sitter. In my experience, she will mother any foal willing to go with her, even if she has one of her own!
