I'm searching for an instructor that can come to me, whether that location be home or the local grounds. Doesn't need to be anyone super great, just someone who can build my confidence and help my horse and I progress up to 3' again.

I'm located near Big Rapids, and I'd probably want to try lessons at the fair grounds up there. It's possible that some friends would also want to join, so group lessons.

Any place I can look or any numbers I can call? Right now I'm doing cross rails with my greenie.

Here is a list of general trainers. I would read the bio's and maybe call some that would work for you. If you play around on this site, there are probably more names than those listed. http://www.michigan-horse.com/trainers_general.asp

Or you could look for trainers that do the Lake Effects Horse Shows because they would most likely be closer to you.

There is not much in your general vacinity. The only one I can think of is http://www.grandridgefarm.com/index.htm

She is midway between Big Rapids and Grand Rapids. Not sure if she would travel to you though, but you would be able to trailer in to her facility.

Ferris is about 15 minutes away, that's the school I am attending.

I did contact Teri about lessons, she sent me to Becky in Sparta. I'll try to contact her again.

you have a PM

PS: The person in the PM I am talking about has a good deal of experience w/ both Green ( including unstarted babies) and OTTB's so this may be a really good combination for you since you mentioned your horse is green.

I recommend Sue Bellinger(I ride and board with her).
She's in Shepherd but does travel. If you'd like her contact info, let me know. I'll PM it to you.
