HELP Creating an alter, please

I've just tried, but it came back something to the effect of
"email address currently in use. Click *here* if you have forgotten your password"

I'd like to use the original email address, and continue posting with this SN, but for this sensitive topic, I'd rather go with a short-lived alter.

Any advice?

Get another email address for that purpose. A free one from Yahoo or Google.
