We are putting feelers out for a gelding that we are fostering until a permanent home is found. The previous owner fell on some hard times and had to move the horses off the property asap....so we decided to help out. We are looking for a GREAT home for this guy. He would be great for a lesson program or light trails. He did have an injury to his right knee as a young horse, he cannot be ridden up and down steep hills due to his knee, just needs to be ridden on the flat. Previous owner said that he should be kept on the Springtime Joint Health Formula. Absolutely no jumping.

Details-
Name: Treasured Dash
DOB: May, 1996
Color: Bay
Height:16 hands

Treasured does have dressage training (Level 1 I think, possibly some Level 2). He is very quiet under saddle and a real level headed guy. Pictures below were taken this week when some friends and I were riding him. He is out of shape and just needs some tune up. The previous owner said that he should be kept with geldings as he can display stud-like behavior towards mares in heat. Does fine when ridden around mares, just should not be pastured together. Treasured will come with a large trunk filled with his sheet, halter, lead rope, 2 fly masks, saddle pad, wraps, and a couple brushes. Also will come with his Wintec bridle and bit.

There are a few requirements for prospective homes. If interested in this beautiful boy, please send a PM. We would also like him to stay in NC, or pretty close to the state line anyways.:)

Pictures just taken this week of Treasured:

Hi Girl!! You are ALWAYS taking in new horses. You are too good. Is this guy gaited? First pic looks like he is racking or doing a running walk.

Hey Sebegeld! It does seem like we keep finding horses that have fallen on hard times doesnt it!? Jakob (the Friesian) had to be put down back in February. His arthritis was too severe and he got down one day and was unable to get back up. It was a very sad day, but I felt better knowing that he got the retirement he deserved, even if it was only a few short months. We did acquire a very nice yearling Friesian colt though in April- he is so wonderful.:)

Anyways, regarding Treasured, he may have a home lined up that will be a great one. So we will see.:)

He looks cute. You might want to contact Sara Hamilton Conversano at the Quail Roost School Program in Rougemont. You can google it.

What kind of saddle are you riding him in?

In the first pictures he was ridden in a western saddle that I am not sure the brand- it was one of our friends.

Here is a few I took of him yesterday going in an english saddle:
