View Full Version : Free 12yo Warmblood gelding in N Florida

Hello all,
One of my boarders is trying to find a home for her wonderful, very well trained hunter gelding. He is 1/2 Trak, 1/2 TB, 16.1H, bay, and about 12 years old. He is a sweet horse that moves well, swaps his leads, and was a tremendous show horse. Has recently been diagnosed with NAVICULAR, and has moderate changes on digital x-rays, which the owner is happy to share. Ozzie has been sound with my farrier putting a navicular show on him. The ideal home will keep Ozzie in light work, and provide correct shoeing. The vet does not reccomend heavy work or heavy jumping. Ozzie has done well with all levels of riders, from green to experienced.

1/2Trak, 1/2TB gelding 16.1H bay. Ozzie belongs to one of my clients, who are looking to place him into a nice, responsible, knowledgable home.

Horse: Was an expensive hunter. Attractive mover, sweet personality, easy to ride, good changes, ect. Husband or lesson type horse. No vices at all, easy kind of guy.

Has been diagnosed with Navicular, and owner has x-rays to share. Moderate changes. Vet says no jumping, and will need lighter work later on. Ozzie has been sound with navicular shoes on, not while barefoot. Has not been injected. Really cool horse. Has taught some lessons and toted around the owners boyfriend. Very forgiving.
