Raspberry Sky is a lovely 5 year old WB mare by our Holsteiner stallion Regulus (sire of GP dressage winner Raison d'Etre, sire of prelim eventers and hunter champions, sire of 3 approved stallions, sire of HOY Raison de Joie and Roi Soleil D) out of a TB mare (granddaughter of Caro). Premium foal with the AWR. A full brother has evented successfully through training so far. Raspberry is 16h, bay, correct and very elegant. Three excellent gaits. Unfortunately, she got a case of Sweeney's (muscle atrophy in one shoulder) last year, and while she has largely recovered, she may never be fully riding sound again unless it is for trail purposes. We had her lunging under tack, and she was as easy as her brother to work with, when she started to go off.

The vet says that she is breeding sound. If she is like her mother, she should be a totally uncomplicated broodmare candidate.

Sweet temperament, very people-oriented, very smart. Lives in a herd and is not an alpha. Easy keeper.

Good home a must.

Sorry to hear about Raspberry, she's a very pretty girl. I'm sure you'll find her a good home. The big horse and I are working on our dressage now, coming along nicely. Got the indoor done last year and it's made all the difference. I have a wonderful trainer who does things in the slow, classical manner, you'd like her. Take good care. Joyce
