I have an older mini I adopted a couple of yrs ago who's been a companion for a friends large horse. My friend is moving and now my mini is available for free lease to another companion home.
He's 34" tall, grey (white) absolutely no health or nutritional special needs.
He's gets along soooo well with others, large or small and doesn't care if he's left alone. He's lived both in a stall at night or run-in 24/7. No feet, founder or laminitis problems (just a crooked leg that doesn't impair him one bit)
A really, really special guy

Is your mini still available? Do you have pictures? I am looking for something to baby sit my young mares. I have 2 and I want to compete one but need something to keep the other company while she is being trail ridden or gone to an event and visa versa. They are 4 and 5. If is is still available please pm and we can discuss it.
Thanks:)

he's currently a companion for my friend who events her horse, but doesn't like to be alone. Magic is perfect! no more ripped blankets for her show horse by full size pasture mates or nicks/bites.
Magic has no vices and could care less if left alone but gets along well with both mares and geldings.
He has a bit of a crooked leg, which does not hold him back one bit.
He's more than an easy keeper (eating leftovers is more than enough).
No health or feet/founder/laminitis issues.
feel free to email me for further info

I wish you were closer, I'd love to find one like him in VA. I just took in an older TB and my old Appendix gelding is such a bully that the TB has to go out alone. He's OK with it but I'm sure he'd be happier with a companion and I don't want another full sized horse or pony. I already bought one pony last year to keep the Appendix company...the companion game is endless when you have horses at home!
Here's a bump for your cute guy, anyway. :)
