(I was one of those soggy people! :D)
I do believe Kelli & the awesome Axel Rose are still in first (had some time), and I think Mike & Unsteelable moved into second with a double-clear. If I remember correctly, I think there's less than a rail (or maybe one rail?) between them.
I think Kelli missed a jump on course with her other horse in the two-star, Valentine and was TE'd, and a few people had some run-outs at the skinnies in the water. Most of the course seemed to ride really well though. What a gorgeous place!!

If one of you could check on Intermediate and report results, I'd LOVE it! Will get reports this evening as folks return home, but waiting is NOT fun! Hope y'all get drier conditions today....we only got about 10 minutes of hard rain yesterday in Covington - want a bit more please. The grass looks sooo nice and green (and it makes my horse account look black rather than RED! )

Equibrit we aren't that stupid. It was already stated the results posted were not current with where the event was hence the purpose for this thread.

One assumes they will be updated. Is that stupid enough ?

USEA has posted the Mike won the CIC** on Unsteelable. Great for him, he deserves it.

Mike & 'Steel' had a great show jumping round to win the CIC2* today - goes well with his double-clear yesterday :) He's a great guy to interview... very gracious and well-spoken. We'll have up the video stuff on the USEA site hopefully by tomorrow morning (I'm sitting in my car trying to post results - it's still pouring out, unfortunately).
Kelli & Axel had a nice round, but dropped one rail to finish second. I believe Dorothy & Radio Flyer finished third.
Hopefully Rick will have the scores up by tonight - they're usually pretty quick about them.

one would assume the results on Chatt Hills website would be updated... but everyone knows how the saying goes about assuming...
I am SO glad to hear that Holly and Fleck were "awesome"!!! I know she was really looking for a confidence-building outing at Training after a few mishaps last year. I cannot wait to hear her recount the event!!!

Results (http://www.chatthillseventing.com/eventinfo/results_May2009.htm) are up.
I'm very pleased with my mare -- 3rd in the Prelim Horse championship, finishing on her dressage score. :)
(This was only her 2nd-ever Prelim.)

Ok need to toot my own horn...
Otto and I finished 2nd in the "Too Old to start riding again" Championship Div (Sr BN). Now I have to make the decision whether or not to go to AEC's.
The Mud at Chattahoochee was far worse than last year's Millbrook (At least it was a prettier shade of red versus Millbrook's dark brown).
Organizer's did good to scramble and find a drier piece of land and moved Stadium late Sat night. I put a lot of miles on my Sunflower wellie boots walking out to Stadium! LMAO
When Carl gets the place done it will be beautiful. What a gorgeous piece of land!

I must say I was super proud of my guy this weekend. The girl who was riding him for me did an awesome job piloting him around in less than ideal conditions . He was a little distracted in dressage but was steady and consistent to go into 7th. He moved to 4th after a lovely showjumping round and finished in 3rd following cross country. This was only his second event in this country and he has really taken everything in stride. I've gained huge amounts of confidence in him and can't wait to get him out this fall and show him myself!!

Awww, you guys are awesome!!!!
And many many Thanks to Hoofclix for getting our pics in the rain and getting them up so quick. Many many thanks to the volunteers who toughed out the weather, and to the organizers for moving the entire stadium course and putting extra footing down at the jumps, and towing almost everyone out :) It was a wet muddy weekend. Luckily my boots held up and didn't spring a hole until yesterday morning!!
And Fleck was AWESOME!!!!!!! I screwed us up XC otherwise we might have stayed in 3rd or actually moved up to 2nd, but... oh well. I let him get too long and strung out to the trakenher and he couldn't jump it. Then I suprised him with the water and he danced before we went down. But other than that he was FANTASTIC!!!!! I was worried about the bendy coffin but he was a rockstar over it :)
It was a great weekend! I can't wait to get back out and redeem ourselves :)
Thanks for cheering us on :)

You have NOTHING to redeem yourself over - your goal was to get back out there, NOT come home with the big E tatooed in your brain and on your results, AND for Fleck to have confidence in himself and YOU!!! You did ALL that!
Now, forever and ever - in my sleep even, I will remember Lellie's lessons on how to go to water jumps with horses so that THEY see the water and feel good about going in - AND GO IN...if you don't remember and want me to refresh your memory, ask away. Better yet, go get the refresher course from the Lell herself. Something tells me after that, your memory will be as good, if not better than MINE!!!! :D
I'm proud as punch of you and for you....

thanks :) That makes me feel so much better!!!
And... so that we can all enjoy it.. .maybe give us that refresher!!! Though I do hope to get back up to Lellie's soon! But I can't seem to make my brain remember right now... course it is almost 3 am and... you know....
:)
