View Full Version : What do you think of this guy?

I'm going to ride him Monday morning.

Not like I NEED another horse, but my lease will end at some point and I really should have my own horse to bring along.

I've been following my friend with this guy since she got him. She's done some hunters with him and a couple jumper classes. She has a pony she wants to focus on and isn't clicking with him. She's tired of trying to sell him, so if we get along we're going to try to strike a deal.

Any thoughts?

He looks great!! I say go for it, but I am a classic enabler. :D I like his attitude and expression, and his conformation is above average.

I really like his movment and I agree that he has such a sweet, willing expression on his face. You two seem to really click!

ENABLERS!

And here I was worried someone would pick on him and I would be all worried about some minor conformation flaw... of course, its only been 12 hours since I posted it, someone will come along and point something out. :)

I'm all for picking horses apart like a pack of hyenas, but i say go for it! If you click in the personality department, there is lots of potential there i think

Let's see:

nicely put together
lovely expression and eye
good suspension
cute jump that is only going to get better
dark bay (I am beginning to LOVE dark bays)

Yup, I can't think of a single reason for you to buy him .

He looks like the right sort, great eye too.
And I will go ahead and say it....he can jump even with that girl jumping up on his neck with her crotch in front of the pommel....and he ties! Worth a serious look.

So how did it go? Did you ride him yesterday? He's really cute - if you got along, I put in another "go for it" vote!

We had to reschedule my ride for next Thursday! UG!!!

Oh well, I'll just be on pins and needles till then. I did get a great deal on a used Stubben today- $150 and it just needs two new billets!
