What do you pay for unrecognized schooling events in your area?

A curious question again. I'm full of those this morning.:lol:

I'm thinking of going to one the end of this month but entries are $150. That's more than I paid for the recognized show I'm headed to tomorrow.

I am in Area 8 and usually pay right around $100 per division.

Between $100 & $150 total including all office fees & stabling ( some are $100 others are $150)

The unrecognized around here (Area 2, midatlantic) are $80 per show. That seems to be standard no matter what venue I go to.

Hence my love of unrecognized shows, especially since I am not after year end awards, rather 'personal growth and development'.

Fair Hill is $80 and I think one of the cheapest, but still very ligament unrec in this area.

My June show is $75/division, stabling is $25 or a grounds fee is $15, so total of either $90 or $100. I offer Green as Grass through Training and (at this point) have not built a water jump. All x/c jumps are built to USEA standards, only narrower (10-14' rather than 14-16') and I have a lot of diverisity in both cross country jumps and show jumps.

I've almost decided that I'm ready to sign up for my first unrecognized schooling HT. The entry fee is $100 and it's in central NC. If someone wants to skip XC, the fee for the CT is $55. Dressage only is $30.

In Area II most unrecognized events are around $80.00. I do know if you're in Pony Club some events will give you a discount - I believe Fair Hill would be $65.00 then.

I'm taking my horse to a Mini Trial in June, the cost was 75$ including stabling and grounds fee :)

$50-$65 for any of the Mini Trial Series, up to training which is the most expensive. Stalls are extra. Can also pay extra to school and add dressage tests. Recognized are roughly $110-$120 with stalls extra.

I only do c/t's for gdcta and they run 45.00 per division then office fee of 15.00 and sometimes a stall for 25.00. Usually for me to do a tadpole division plus a training level dressage test extra and a stall it is 110.00

We run all of the NCDCTA shows at the Ark over our USEA course designed by John Williams and charge the following fees:

Dressage test (intro - FEI) = $25
Combined test (premaiden - intermediate) = $40
Horse Trials (premaiden - preliminary) = $75
SJ round (premaiden - intermediate) = $15
No grounds/office fee (most people trailer in)
Stall = $40 (includes 2 bales shavings)

So most people pay under $100. That seems more reasonable to me. It seems that in the past I have paid less but maybe I am wrong.

Most schooling events in my area run somewhere around $75-ish for 3 phase and $50 for 2phase.

I've entered two unrecog events in MD. One is $95, and the other is $100 entry fee, with $10 grounds fee.

I'm in Area 4 and our IDCTA schooling HTs run right around $100 with stabling. Sounds about par for the course:D
