Anybody seen one of these in person yet? I was flipping through my new trail rider mag and saw it:eek:. Did a little surfing and found it looks like a kinda cool saddle, maybe better without a horn though, rigging is interesting. Might be a decent saddle if you don't have a lot to spend ( ha:lol: ~ we have horses, who has money? Not me). I haven't ever used an Abetta, only Fabtron and Big Horn as far as synthetic saddles. What about those flex trees - any input?

Th Abetta Manta Flex is a Decent Saddle.

It does have some flaws as you say;

No Horn - Not available

Semi- QH or Reg QH - Not available

Flex Tree - does not flex for Gullet Width like many say on the net, flexes diagonally for Hoses Comfort

Many say it is not as comfortable as a Big Horn

Good Points;

3/4 Center Fire Rigging

Lightweight

American Made

Hey 7HL, what type of horse are you using this saddle on? I am still hoping to find one locally to check out in person. Thanks:):)

I use it on two different horses, QH mare she 15'2" and a Spotted Saddlebred gelding 16'2".

Check this link out has some good pictures of it. I didn't buy online, I bought from a local tack / saddle shop who deals in Abetta. He ordered mine and a second one for his stock.
