I got a very nice email from a woman in Austria who recently purchased the stallion Certus, sire of my lovely big gray mare, Clairvoya. She wrote to me in relatively poor English, asking to see a video of her (which I'll get to uploading this evening). I think her English is still better than my German, but I'd like to write her back auf Deutsch. Can any of you wonderful fluent folks give this a read for boo-boos?
Danke! :)
Hallo! Vielen dank für dein Email. Ich kann ein kleine bisschen Deutsch sprechen.
“Cleo” ist eine super Stute. Sie hat ihre erste “Brentina Cup” gewonnen mit 65%. Das “Brentina Cup” ist eine Turniere fur Grand Prix Reitern 20-28. Cleo ist auch eine “Elite Mare Candidate” mit das American Hanoverian Society. Dieser Sommer züchten wir sie zum holländischen Stallion UB40 für Embryoübertragung. (This sentence is the big huh? for me - I want to say that this summer we're breeding her to the Dutch stallion UB40 for Embryo Transfer. "Embryoübertragung" came from babelfish, so I could be TOTALLY wrong)
Ich habe ein Video vom unsere erste “Brentina Cup” Turniere.(link) Ich hoffe dass wir gehen zum das National Championships im Juni.
Vielen dank für dein Email! Geniessen Sie bitte das Video.

Also, send a PM to Gnep - he is from Germany, currently in the US, if my information is correct...
I has been a while since German class, but here is my suggestions....
Hallo! Vielen Danke für dein Email. Ich kann nuer ein bisschen Deutsch schreiben (you are writing, not speaking).
“Cleo” ist eine super (you can also put in 'das Beste' (the best) instead of 'eine super' (a super)) Stute. Sie hat ihre erste “Brentina Cup” mit 65% gewonnen. Das “Brentina Cup” ist eine Grand Prix Dressurprüfung (this fits better-Dressurprüfung is dressage competition) für Reiter am 20-28. Cleo ist auch eine “Elite Mare Candidate” mit das American Hanoverian Society. Dieser Sommer werden wir sie zum holländischen Hengst UB40 für EmbryoÜberführung züchten. (I think that fits better 'übertragung' means more 'transmission, while 'Überführung' is more 'transfer'). (The sentence seems better to me written the way it is...but I may be writing to formally...)
Ich habe ein Video vom das “Brentina Cup” Dressurprüfung. (OK, that's kind of the writer coming out in me - you already said it was her first Brentina Cup, no need to repeat. Gender change necessitated the 'das' before the word.) (link) Hoffentlich wir werden am das National Championships im Juni konkurrieren. (translated: Hopefully we will compete in the National Championships in June - or that is what it should say. Literal translation: hopefully we will at the National Championships in June compete. In German, helping verbs kick the other verb to the end of the sentence, such as describing future and past tense).
I would be interest to see how close I am from someone who speaks it as a native language-I love the language, but don't get much practice anymore.

If you haven't sent it already, I would suggest putting the English version underneath in case she is confused....
Also, if you include the English underneath then I can send it to my mom to see if they mean the same thing.
Even in German, I am impressed with your Clairvoya :D
See you at Morven!

Thank you all very much! I think I will put my English version underneath, just in case, but I'm very grateful for the help. German 201 was a long time ago... :)

Am late on this one but she does sound very impressive :) I've known some Certus offspring years ago. V. athletic and willing.

your German is very impressive!
I'd go with Lostisland's version. She must be a Native German speaker :)
