Smith (The Special Heir) is a 13 year old chestnut Saddlebred gelding, approx. 15.3 hands. Sound and healthy. Needs an intermediate rider with knowledge of Saddlebreds. He is a forward horse with 5 gaits. He does not buck or rear, but is too much horse for a true beginner. He may work out in a ring with an advanced beginner working with a trainer. He is NOT a high stepping show horse. Could be a lesson horse for riders of the appropriate level or a trail, pleasure horse. Will not be placed in a home as an only horse on property. He must have companions.

Smith is available for long term/permanent free lease. If he is not working out in his new home, he must be returned. Vet/farrier references required.

I can trailer him to his new home within a 100 mile radius of Greenville, NC. He is worth a try as he is a great horse, especially for someone interested in learning to ride a saddlebred. His rack is a dream ride.

Bumping for Smith
This is a sweet horse. I've ridden him myself and know nothing about gaited horses. Very energetic and his rack was sooo comfortable.
