One we have in the barn at the time that I think is very interesting:

She was born almost completely white and has gotten darker as she ages (I've seen pix of her as a weanling). She is darker in the winter than in the summer. Her head and legs are darker than her body (where there are not white makrings). Her sire is chestnut, not sure on the dam, dam's sire is chestnut.
My best guess is chestnut roan sabino :)

I can see those...do you have any of her as a foal?
ETA: And maybe pictures of her sire and dam? Or at least pedigree?

She does indeed look like a nearly-maxed Sabino

I would vote maximum sabino as well. I actually knew a half-Arab who was colored very similarly to your filly. His dam was clearly sabino, so we always called him a maximum sabino.

I think hes got LOTS of sabino roan. I dont think he is a "max sabino" in the bodys completely white with pink skin way. I think hes got a lot of leg white and face white and his body is either LOTS of sabino roan, or true roan mixed with lots of sabino roan.

Sorry that my links did not work, ty sniplover.
In these pics the mare is 9 years old. I don't have available the pics I have seen of her when she was younger.
The darker legs and head where there is color and the darkening color with age and seasonal color changes makes me think that this mare is carrying both the roan and sabino genes.
I have never seen her dam and her sire is just a plain chestnut.
I think I will jsut call her color "easter egg" :D

What kind of markings does the sire have?

Dam-sire was nearly solid, snip and hind coronets.

Interesting. What breed is she? Certainly some sabino going on (can tell from all the pink on her nose), probably rabicano, too. It looks like her right front foot is white but maybe the others are not - can you tell us..?

RMT - were you logged in to flickr when you were trying to view them? It's just a theory, but it was the only one I could think of last night ;)

Extensive sabino roan is my guess with a red base most likely..maybe bay.

Interesting, my monitor must be doing odd things, as I don't see the color you guys see, but if you see it, then it sounds like very loud Sabino roaning :)

She is a Tennessee Walking Horse. And her base color, I would say, is definatly chestnut, there is not a black hair on her body. The backs of her ears are strawberry colored :) Right front foot and left hind foot are white, the opposite pair is dark.
