I'm posting these for a friend who is winding down his racehorse breeding operation and just keeping a couple pasture puffs. He'd like to place these mares in good homes if possible.
Jim has traditionally placed his "slow" or retired racehorses in sport horse homes. He says these mares would be better as broodmares prospects, however.

Maiden mare that earned $117,000 dollars from an active family (62 starts, 14-10-5). Bought her to breed to my stallion a few years ago but stallion died of a heart attack before she could be bred. She has been a pasture pet ever since.
Lena Marie (http://www.pedigreequery.com/lena+marie) - Drk br mare 1996 by Arab Speaker out of Dona's Slipper. Easy care mare. Breeds and foals easliy. Had a large ankle that ended her racing. Winner in five starts (5-1-1-1, $5,077), dam of two unraced fillies. Full sister to Bonnie J (http://www.pedigreequery.com/bonnie+j), stakes placed earner of $165,965.
Slew Mary Lou (http://www.pedigreequery.com/slew+mary+lou)- Bay mare 2002 by Evansville Slew out of Dona's Slipper. Mare bowed in a work and rebowed in only start. She has a large ankle. Dam of one foal, a yearling filly (below). Half sister to Bonnie J (http://www.pedigreequery.com/bonnie+j), stakes placed earner of $165,965.
Unnamed filly by Moncado (http://www.pedigreequery.com/moncado) out of Slew Mary Lou, the result of a horny long yearling and a cooperative mare! Foaled in November, blay with four white socks and a blaze.
