I have a nice, little horse that I'd like to free lease with possible full ownership if the lease works out and everyone is happy.

Here's the story.
This guy is 18 years old, 14.2 hands. His is sound, healthy and has no vices. (Except he hates fly spray so I just use War Paint and a fly sheet. After 6 years together, I let him "win" on the fly spray issue.)

He is barefoot with excellent feet. Easy keeper but needs a blanket in the winter. He also likes a stall when the weather is bad and likes turn out when the weather is good. He gets a little pan of Blue Seal Trotter twice a day and then hay or grass. Not on any supplements.

He is honestly good for the farrier and the vet. Stands untied for sheath cleaning.

Can w/t/c. He's nice and forward in a Myler comfort snaffle. I also ride him in a Myler western ported bit. I usually ride western but he is happy in English tack.

I am 5'10" tall and I ride this little horse. He does not give me any trouble, never bucked or reared.
My friend was over last weekend with her 17 year old daughter. The girl isn't even 5' tall, probably 90 lbs. soaking wet, and fits the little horse perfectly.
When that small girl rode my horse, the look on his face told me he really is happy with a small, lightweight rider who knows how to ride. He was in Heaven.

This horse is so much happier with a job. And I can't give him a job, or a little, lightweight rider. That girl does not have facilities for a horse or else she would be taking him home.

I would like to place this guy with someone small and lightweight (topping at 125 lbs.) who knows how to ride. I don't think he would be happy in a lesson program but he could probably do therapeutic riding since there are side walkers to help the rider stay balanced.

I would also like this guy to stay fairly local to me so I can keep an eye on him.

This horse has no physical limitations on riding except the rider size. I don't think he's interested in jumping but he might be willing/able to hop over cross rails.

Please PM me if you think you might be interested in this horse.

Thank you for reading.
