I have a filly out of my mare, China Moon and by Rex Grannus. For registration, the name ideally should start with an "R". If there is a name suggestion that doesn't start with an R, i can always but " R' " in front of it. I want her registration name to be something foreign, though I don't really care what language. Any suggestions?

Regalia

(Not foreign, but it ties into the royal theme of Rex (King) Grannus).

I love all the names! Thank you everybody! I am making a list right now. I would love to still get suggestions. It's really hard finding a forgeign name. I was also thinking since the dam is China Moon, find another cool sounding country or city name and calling her that. Or "amatissimo" is italian for precious. Calling her " R'amatissimo" and then finding a cute barn name? What do you think? I want to just keep trying to find names and then narrow it down from there.

If it doesn't start with R, I can always add an R to the front of it or just not follow the R rule. It's preferred but not required I believe with oldenburg/ISR?

Regina, which is Latin for queen - nice play on Rex (king) Grannus. Barn name could be Gina.:yes:

Ravenna is a city in Italy, well known for its beautiful churches and spectacular mosaics. I have been, right after taking an Art History class and was awe-inspired to say the least.

Roma is the Italian for Rome. Romane is Italian for Roman. Romanga is a flower, and I think it sounds quite appealing: RO man ya.

Yeah but someone will no doubt pronounce that as "Ro MAG na."
