Did anybody else see this show tonight?

Great to see horses featured, but unfortunate that they would use a plotline about horses getting drugged, especially this week of all weeks. I didn't see the first half, though. What was the background on the horse involvement?

I must say, the second I saw those hay hooks hanging on the wall, I knew somebody was going to get stabbed with one. Those things are freaky and scary!

It certainly proved the theory that anyone can look good in riding clothes- if they happen to look like Eliza Dushku!

I love the show. It's only around 7 pm here in California, so I have yet to see it. I'm sure Eliza looks good in breeches. Have you seen her in the yoga pants she always wears?

Oops, didn't think of the time difference. Sorry if I spoiled anything for the West Coasters!

Fancy, she looks good in all those crazy outfits on that show- lucky girl!

I liked the CO on the original lady, but I wasn't terribly surprised that Eliza didn't wear one during her riding scene.

Neither one of them looked all that natural in the saddle.

And I loved that this horse was going to be able to go back to being a 4 million dollar race horse -- and was also being hacked out in the woods by a 50 year old lady...there ain't NO drugs that are going to make that happen!

Obviously I'm going to have to watch the whole episode online. It sounds like I missed a lot of it!

Love your sig, BTW. Did you see the preview for next week? Wash is on the show! I love it that Joss uses people again and again on different shows.

I know! I listened to the audio from Serenity on the way home from a conference today and I teared up during the part where wash dies... I love his stuff and can't wait to see Alan :)

Oh yeah. I also loved that when she got up in the middle of the night to sneak a ride, she was sure to put her hunt coat on.

I love the show, but id they ever do an episode with horses again, they need an advisor.

I was really surprised that the dead lady didn't take off with Eliza's body! I think I would have. ;)

That was right about when I turned it on, so I thought, Huh, is she on her way home from a show or what?!

Did anyone else think it looked like Eliza did her own riding? The position was very unique, it made me think they didn't use a double with the way her legs were braced.

I just watched it at Hulu. It made much more sense when I saw it from the beginning!

Thanks for the link! Didn't have as much horses as I would love to see... and as usual the $4 million TB looked more like a school horse. Also they mixed young race horses with horses that a middle aged wealthy woman would ride.

Not to mention the fact that if you bang on the wall in a stable, the horses won't neigh, they'll bang back...and the neigh sound effects were thoroughly awful.

But I ALWAYS put my hunt coat on to ride ;)

It was a pretty good episode despite the errors. But then I like the show a lot anyways

OTOH, aside from the errors/bad writing, I could understand wanting one final ride and to tell your horse(s) goodbye. :)
