I have a young cat, approximately 1 - 1.5 yrs in need of a home ASAP. He is a large black & white neutered male, UTD on all shots until december '09. NOT declawed, gets along well with other cats and tolerates dogs (he hasn't seen any larger than a jack russell, he may get along with large dogs as well). Currently indoor only, but if you want him to go out thats fine. He has no vices ;)
Last year I got stuck with him because my roomate couldn't keep him anymore, and now I can't keep him. I have a seasonal job and my boss made an exception last year and let me have the cat with me, but he says this year he can't let me because its not fair to the other employees. My parents won't watch him for me for the six months because they already have a house full of animals. I asked a few friends who are cat people and they can't for one reason or another. As a last resort I asked the woman whos barn I used to work at if she wanted him, or could keep him for the six months and she can't keep him either.
I only have two days until I go back to work in MI, I am tentatively bringing him with me there and hope he gets a new home before I go up there, or shortly there after. If you think you might have another solution as to what can be done, please PM me.
Hes a really great friendly cat and doesn't deserve to go to the shelter.
