Crazy... What are the odds?? i have 4 foals on the ground so far with 2 more to go.
a filly & 3 colts. all have 4 whites & A blaze..none of them are related, so its not a bloodline thing. 2 of them will be gray..

yep, grand gala X pablo was one of the grays, and my TB filly by imperialism is the other gray
the 2 boys were sired by Rosenthal & Donnersohn. both out of TB mares.
still waiting on the Parabol out of EM Diamonette & the Le Santo out of Veronica II, both due pretty much so now.

Something similar (and odd) is certainly happening this year at the farm where my mares live. All the mares there are TB racemares, all the breedings are planned with racing in mind--color doesn't ever enter into the equation. Usually the fields are filled with plain bay babies.

This year, of the first 17 foals born, 13 are chestnuts with stockings and big blazes. The mares are unrelated to each other, the sires are mostly unrelated to each other; and in most cases neither parent is even chestnut. This is extremely unusual--if very cute to look at. :D One or two I could understand, but 13?? Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Actually all the breedings were live cover, all were witnessed, some were videotaped. And when the time comes to register them, the JC will do DNA testing. So there's not much room for hanky panky. :D

had a filly yesterday, blaze two 1/2 stockings & I think some white on front, its creamy right now, but hooves are white!~WOOHOO~

Save some bling for next year. I just saw my "baby's" heartbeat Monday on an u/s. It's truley amazing that a bunch of cells with a heartbeat in the middle can turn into a horse.

Lovely babies - gotta love the chrome - although it is a pain keeping it clean. We have 9 horses - 6 with 4 white feet.

that is so funny!!! I never get white on mine. If I foal out for some one else though....they always have white!!!! LOL I rarley have colts as well out of 30 some foals..I think we have had only 6 colts. Strange!

Paris, I met the Parabol filly (and Parabol, actually) this weekend - she's healthy, adorable and super, super nice. It was getting dark outside, so just a blah mediocre picture with flash, but until Lisa gets some pictures up, here's one to tide you over. ;)

Yeah. FL to PA and back in record time..

ETA: Parabol is a lover and in great shape for an old man, Bugatti has Presence(!) and a lot more bone than in the pictures, Royal Prince has some NICE foals (hadn't met any previously), Festrausch is HUGE and I really liked him... and man almighty that is a NICE facility.

Sniplover & I had SUCH A BLAST driving to Pa & back over the weekend~LOL~

Trip ended up sucking royally for what it was meant for, but we made a good time out of it..

We went to Hilltop- it was my 2nd time there- sniplovers first..We saw
Bugatti, Royal Prince, Contucci, Parabol, Riverman, Popeye, Fielding, Sonntagskind, Donnerweiss, Festrausch & A new guest one in to leasrn the ropes.
Natalie was cool as always.

My puppy MeMi was with us.. She is the one i had to have the surgery done on for those who know her. she was so cute the entire time.

Ill get new pics of the still unnamed parabol filly up soon. I have some really great ideas & she will have a name by the end of the week. Jen came up with a good one, but i dont wanna give anything away yet
