If you are a affectionado of this fine product as I am, grab as many of these and purchase them as you can. It has been recalled due to use in methamphetamine labs. I am in MI and had to check 2 feed and 1 tack store in order to require 1 (last) bottle. Gotta love those &$#* Meth cooks.:mad:

You can order straight from the Hawthorne website but you have to provide your driver's license and a recent bill showing your home address. I heard about this 4 months ago and loaded up on Hoof Freeze - I hope no one thought I was operating a meth lab when I made those purchases!!!

There's more than one way to make meth. Are they going to take away window cleaner (ammonia) and batteries (lithium) next?

Between the USEF and the DEA the list of stuff we can use gets smaller by the day.

Dang it.

They're supposedly cooking meth from urine extract these days. How long before we're not allowed to use the rest room???

Well that's just silly. They'll let you use the rest room.

...you'll just have to show them your driver's license and sign a form first. :lol::lol::lol:

man i knew this was gonna happen, first it was the 7% iodine, then the Hoof freeze Sigh.

now i am gonna have NOTHING to harden and Dry my horses hoofs.

Yet they are still selling iodine...good grief, they'll find other stuff to work with I'm sure.....

Not in California.Oh my, how frustrating. You cannot get it at all?? We can still purchase it up here and we have a lot of meth lab activity in our area.

You aren't planning on flying anytime soon are ya? :lol:

For work, I'm on strike duty standby, meaning if the call comes, I book a one-way ticket. I'll happen (thankfully!) to be traveling with a male co-worker, who will also have to book a one-way ticket, and if that happens, I just can't wait to see what the airport experience is like!
