Looking to place my TB mare. 10 years old, 16+hand bay with lots of chrome. Drop dead gorgeous. By Storm Creek (Storm Cat) out of Pixie Missy. Solid novice horse, ready for training but needs mileage. Lovely mover and jumper, very athletic. Snaffle mouth for all 3 phases. Also trail rides and hacks out. Needs turnout with geldings, extremely mareish when kept in a mare herd even when on regumate. Has done very well without regumate when turned out with a gelding or in a mixed sex herd. I feel that she should do well in a private setting where her turnout can be managed and kept consistent, someplace that doesn't have mares moving into and out of the herd constantly. I do believe that she can be managed and someone could have a lot of fun with her eventing or perhaps doing lower level jumpers. Or she could be used as a non-competitive pleasure mount, broodmare or companion horse in any herd situation. I would like to continue eventing and I can no longer manage her in a boarding situation with a same sex herd. Regumate is not doing enough, and I cannot keep moving from barn to barn, hoping to find something that suits her. Sound, healthy and UTD on all shots. Not appropriate for beginners. Please PM me for more information and pictures.

To clarify a bit, to all who are interested in my mare, you must be willing to come to meet us personally and try her out. I would also want to be able to come see where she will be living and will be asking for references before placing her with anyone. I will not ship her anywhere sight unseen. Thanks!

Have you considered spaying her?

Have seen very good results on mares that were just too "marey". They were able to continue with a competitive career and weren't breeding candidates anyway.
