Looking for very quiet lesson horse in Loudoun County. Can be large pony to 16h size (nothing huge), to be used for small lesson program (3-5 rides per week) and can also be an occasional husband trail horse. I need something that will W/T/C with novice riders, occasional cavalletti, cross poles. Some basic dressage knowledge or just well schooled on the flat (can go on bit, leg yield, understands half-halt). Must get along with mares if a gelding. Wonderful home provided with ample turnout, stall, great care. Older horses fine as long as comfortably sound in this type of work. I am open to free leases or permanent home for the right individual. References available. Post here, PM me, or e-mail at secondfiddlefarm@gmail.com.

bump - still looking! We can provide a wonderful home here. Prefer horses that are in VA/MD so I can come meet in person.

I can vouch for Hoser's farm - it is gorgeous. Super barn, turnout, and gorgeous ring.

I have a horse that might suit; he has everything you're looking for but two--he is not a good husband trail horse, and I turn him out alone because he has a past history of kicking. If those are things you can live with, email me at sunshine9ATusa.net, and I'll send you his particulars.
