I am posting this for a woman in SC who needs to find homes for her 2 horses due to the economy....This is the information she sent to me about them....
The mare is 27 years old, she has a light case of arthritis in her left hip and currently doesn’t need to be on any medication. She’s a sweet horse, respectful, and submissive. She would be good for light children, walking only, and groundwork. She doesn’t buck or bite and currently is living outdoors 24/7. Currently we have her on a senior feed called phase 5 .
The gelding, Bay, is a sweet 7 year old quarter horse gelding. We got him from an auction when he was 4 and he doesn’t have any papers on him. But he is a beautiful horse. Both horses would do great with children. Bay tore a ligament about a year ago and is still healing from it. He can only be lightly ridden.
Although we are located in SC we are willing to drive them to a loving home. We love them so much and if we cant find a home for them then we fear that we will have to put them down. L Both horses have in the past been negative for coggins. That just recently expired and before we bring them to a loving home will have it updated. They are up to date on their shots, teeth are in good condition, and hooves were just trimmed. (those look good too)
To who ever wants the horses we will give them blankets and saddles for their other horses. We just want to find a home for them that will take good care of them and love them.
