Need large XC saddle pad

I'm a tall ( 6' 2" ) male rider and my XC saddle has a very forward cut flap. "Normal" saddle pads for XC are too small i.e. the back of my saddle extends over the pad . Does anyone know of a larger/longer XC pad? Thanks!

I had a courbette vision (but not the super forward flap one) and I think the brand that worked for it was Jacks. I found it at the local tack store and bought the two they had!

Good luck with it! It's odd...you'd think someone (coughNunnfinercough) or someone!!! Would jump on it and come out with saddle pads to fit the XC saddles!!! ;)

I have custom forward saddles....never found anything off the shelf that fits them. Through BOB, I ordered Toklat pads (I think it was a classic III). They have a xc cut and and extra forward xc cut....at least they used too (these are not shaped pads). Those fit my saddles well.

The only other one that fit them were the Rambo square pads. Those are thicker pads sort of like the poly pads (poly pads didn't fit).

Smartpak's Kensington saddle pads extend forward a little more than most:

I use one with an extra-forward BC Tex Eventer and it works well.

Toklat Classics III. The regular XC pad fits my 18.5" saddles well. If you get the XC pad +1" all around, you should be even better covered. For a shaped pad, Toklat also makes fleece pads in a XC cut, and they come in size ranges up to 19.5". I know BOB has the square XC pad, and the Tack Box in Middleburg carries the shaped pads.

Toklat for sure. I have two pads that fit my extra forward flap saddles. Nothing else worked. Can't remember the models.

For SJ, I love my Rambo pad. It's 28" long across the spine, and fits my Berney Bros better than any other off-the-shelf pad. I don't like using the thick pads for xc, though-- too much heat build-up. I've come to accept that my saddle will overhang (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/aljohnd/Horse%20Pics/WayneXC07table.jpg) a little bit, my sheepskin half pad gets dirty in the back edge... but oh well, I love the $15 Roma quilted pads, I stock up every year at Rolex.
