I'm looking for a black polo shirt to use under my XC Vest, but everything I find comes halfway down my thigh - so tucking it in is a nightmare! Even Ariat's XS polos are too long (and the sleves come down to my elbows *sigh*)

I've thought about possibly buying a child's polo, but I was afraid they'd be more Blockish in shape. (Like from Land's End) I'm pretty petite and mostly leggy, so this is a challenge for me anyway. Anyone have any luck finding one that works?

I got mine in the boys section at Walmart. It wasn't as long and "boxy" as the women's sizes were. Nice and cheap too!

Try getting a youth polo, Jc Penney and Sears have a big juniors department. The are shorter then womans polos and are more form fitting so should not be too big, plus its under a vest so it doesn't matter if it fits perfectly.

I am very tiny, and I go Target all the way. The polos with the little owl or whatever on them work really well.

i'm built like you (5'8 and about 115 lbs) and aeropostal polos fit me very nicely. i hate the butterfly thing, but its tiny and they are cheap- $10. Ralph Lauren also has some very fitted polos (the rugby line) but they are MUCH more expensive. so i stick to the aero ones

For the budget minded (like me) go for Target or another discount boy's section. If you have more to spend, try the Ralph Lauren outlets. They have a slim fit polo that is T-tiny!

Old navy has polos that are cut with a feminine shape and shorter sleeve. I'm 4'10" and 90 lbs and their XS womens fits me well and looks better than wearing a boy's size that tends to be cut straighter

The best fitting polos I have found are Lacoste. They don't droop down the shoulder or look like a poorly fitted dress. Kinda yesterday but they are still good for riding.

I get mine at the local Golf Shop. There are some nice ones by Adidas, Slazenger, and they come in the smaller sizes.

You could also try Victoria's Secret polos, if you can stand the sleeve design.

I also really like the Target polos.

Not cheapest, but Danskin does a lovely one that is shorter and you can apparently get it at Walmart, which is probably cheaper

I buy from the Boys Section, I usually wear a meduim.

I hate the short little sleeves that come on most womans/girl polo shirts these days, which is why I shop in the boys section.
I feel like once i get my polo tucked in it doesn't look boxy, and it doesn't really matter once you get your vest on anyways.

The boys ones are $5.50 at Walmart :) I just got paid, so tomorrow I'm heading over and pick up like 6--one in each of the darker colors. Voila summer wardrobe! I'm like a size 10 and the XL fits me perfectly. My mom is a 6 and wears the L. The Gap ones are okay, too, but way more expen$ive.

I like J. Crew's pique polos. I'm really tiny and an XS fits perfectly. They're a bit pricey-er but the often do a 2 for $50 (or thereabouts) sale, and it's a great quality!
