I tried to find the old thread but it's been poofed, so.............the last 3 of Carol Lush's horses & ponies were picked up by a friend of hers today, and along with the 2 she picked up herself last November and the 2 that were returned to her on Feb. 18th, all the horses and ponies have been accounted for.

Some of the horses and ponies were sold before Carol got them back, but she has found them and they are in good homes, and the people who bought them were kind enough to tell Carol that they had bought them.

Carol is out a lot of money between the lost sales on her horses and her lawyer's fees, and she's still going thru chemo, but she now has gotten back all of her horses and ponies that were not sold by (x).

Thank you everyone who helped and supported Carol, and you can send your wishes for her recovery from cancer to her at her maple side farm website, email carol@maplesidefarm.com, and tell her to keep fighting, as she's got to get these horses and ponies back into shape and sell them.
And thanks to hunterponies who was one of the three hard working friends who helped Carol get her equines back. Alix, Kane, and Hunterponies, you 3 are great investigators and fantastic people.
Oh and Cindy, who made the run today and picked up the last 3, wonderful.

Could you fill those of us who missed the original thread in on who Carol Lush is?

The Mods didn't want us posting a lot of names on the other threads, but she owns Maple Side Farm in PA and breeds horses and ponies.

That is fabulous news. I truly hope "x" has had permanent damage done to her reputation. Nothing can take back the crap Carol went through but hopefully through this mess, others will be forewarned. Thanks for the update. Continued jingles and prayers for Carol.

This has hung over a lot of heads for what seems like years, not months. To say, "what a relief" does not do the emotion justice. To the best Southern ex Prosecutor, what a wonderful friend and support you have been to Carol and all your new friends. And thanks to Cindy for bringing the last of the critters home! Everyone please pray for a safe trip for all.

Great news, finally! This case went to court, right? Public record? If that's the case, I'm a little unclear why light can't be shed on the situation here on COTH without the thread getting poofed again.

Yeah, I thought once a judgment was made it was okay, too...regardless I found out about it and I'm truly glad that she was able to get her horses back. I hope things will only continue to get better for her.

I am happy to know that Carol's sweeties will be back at home, but sad that this has had to go on so long and for what? I can only hope that these animals had excellent care and that they will come back to Carol's in fabulous condition. I am anxious to see photos. :)

I think the transcript might be posted soon on a site. If so, we'll be told where. I haven't seen it yet but heard that it was enlightening.
2 horses and pony are thin and hooves need lots of work, but they are alive and free from being held there.

The horses are not really home yet. They have gone to another farm for a few days until Cindy has the 12 hours she needs for the round trip. I would love to see them walk off the trailer!!!!!

Links have already been posted elsewhere regarding the news coverage of the court ruling; however, debating the specifics of the business dealings between the private parties in this civil case, prior to and after the ruling, is best handled off of the forum.

Thanks,

Someone just asked me who the last three horses were. They are Halle, Ernie (Rules of Engagement) and Petunia.

They arrived home yersterday. They were very thin and they need a blacksmith but they had a great reception from a very relieved and happy (and emotionally exhausted) group of people.
