Twin one day HT April 5th, anyone here going?

Checking in to see if any area VI COTHers are going to the Twin one day this weekend.

My greenbean and I are making our HT debut in elemental...Whoot! I'm very excited. :yes:

If anyone else here is going, it would be fun to say hello and cheer you on!

Problem is I think Woodside is doing a CT the same day and that is closer for us, so we are going there instead. Already been to Twin 6 times this year.

I know, but even though it's totally close to where I board, my whole barn is going down to Twin. That's actually better for me since Woodside doesn't cater to riders like me who are just starting to get our feet wet in eventing.

Are you riding at Woodside in May also?

are you going to Eventful Acres in May? I had considered trying Twin, but decided to forego it in favor of a sidesaddle event that's closer to Sacramento.

They have a elementary there this time. We have one of our adults going to do it I believe, or maybe she is just doing dressage. Not really sure I just have the 1 pony coming back to work not jumping yet. I was hoping to be showing at Woodside in May (wanted to do that Prelim Challenge) but he is just going to be jumping again for a couple weeks when that rolls around. I sold the novice horse I had at Twin so unless I buy something else real quick and get it going I will probably just be there for the day to watch, or play taxi for the ponies depending on how many end up going.

I forgot they did have elementary at Woodside this time, but their jumps are too high for us right now. We are still only doing little cross rails and Woodside has 2' - 2'3 for it's elemental class, still a little too much for us! :yes:

Let us know if you do end up in Woodside in May. I won't be riding, but will be there to cheer others from my barn on!

How fun to find my trainer and another "teammate" on this thread! :)

I'm so excited for this event and a lot of it has to do with the fact that I am blessed to train with an amazing trainer who also has a great bunch of students.

Yeah, I'm a "grown up" and riding with kids 1/3 of my age who are competing at a much higher level than I am, but I still feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!

Thankfully, there are some other "rusties" coming along to keep me company. Don't get me wrong though, I think the kids that ride with Tally Ho Farms are the best!
