A couple more CANTER cuties! [Archive]

This little mare is ADORABLE!!! I had the pleasure of taking her photo for this listing and she will make someone a very nice hunter. Sweet as can be!!! Nicely put together.

4 year old 15.2hh dark bay filly with a big blaze and right hind sock. She is a perfect lady, even stood ground tied after coming out of her stall for photos. She has no vices, was just too slow to make a racehorse and only ran 5 times. Has a bump on her right ankle from a fall that is cosmetic only, x-rays negative. With her personality and looks she could be a great hunter. Asking $2500

6 year old 15.3hh bay gelding. Gorgeous and well put together. Quiet, nice temperament. Trainer's "favorite in the barn". Clean and sound. Great prospect. Asking $2500

I really need to stop doing two things: 1) volunteering for CANTER (very dangerous:winkgrin:) and 2) stop looking at the CANTER site. Of course, we all know that ain't gonna happen!

I really hope someone ends up with one of these guys. I especially hope someone ends up with the filly. My friend and I tried really hard to convince our husbands to let us buy her as a project. It didn't work. Since we can't do it, I want a fellow COTHer to do it so I can live vicariously through them and "watch" her progress. :winkgrin::D:yes:

i am DROOLING over that mare! just what i have been looking for! if only i could convince my parents to let me buy her!! she is just LOVELY!

Man, I wish there was a full confo shot of the filly. I always love to see how they're put together.

Unfortunately, I know the Canter volunteers are extremely limited on the shots they're able to take, so I'm not faulting them at all. Just doing some wishful thinking... ;) I think she looks gorgeous in that one shot and wish I could see all of her. :)

Keep working on your parents. This mare was an absolute doll. I was very impressed with her standing ground tied during training hours without budging!!!! She just stood there soaking up all of the attention. It was all I could do not to ignore my husband and go back that same day with the trailer.:D:)

Actually, there were a couple of full conformation shots of this mare. I should know...I took them.:winkgrin: There was another photo posted on the site, but for some reason the page didn't work. Let me see if I can dig up one of the conformation shots for you.

ooh! Lovely horses! Our season at FingerLakes begins in a few weeks and we should be drooling over the available horses soon!

I have my own Finest now so hopefully I won't fall in love with anything this year! ;)
