We had a gorgeous liver & white female Springer that went with my daughter to the shows. Slept in the tack stalls and was perfect. She has unfortunately died, so now I'm looking for someone in Virginia that raises the "bench" (not field) style. Our ponies miss Samantha and barn cats miss their friend.

Anyone?

I highly recommend Celie Florence and Dolores Streng's Telltale springers in Manakin Sabot (sp.). I have one of theirs sleeping on my foot right now! He's liver and white.

I believe they bred "Samantha," the springer that won Westminster a few years back.

PM me if you can't find them on line. I have their # somewhere! If you call, tell them Magnum is doing fine in Michigan!

Do they have a website? *edited to add I couldn't find their website when I looked***

Here is our Samantha at the Keswick Horse Show last summer.

Cool! And if you come to see their dogs, you can come to see ME and your children!

There is a family in Fredricksburg who bred their Bitch. We have one of thier christmas delivery litter. He is a gorgeous tri with fantastic confirmation. I am not sure, but there may have some left.

I miss mine. He was the BEST trail riding dog ever! Went with me everywhere. Lots of fun adventures and all that personality! The energizer bunnies of the dog world!!

I recall a breeder in Fredericksburg area I think. Got ours from relatives who got from a puppy shop and couldn't handle the "energy" in a suburban environment. He needed space!

Samantha was a wonderful dog--one of the most pleasant, easygoing, obedient horse show dogs I have ever seen. I hope your next Springer will be the same!

The ESSFTA has a list of breeders by state. If you scroll to the bottom there are 7 breeders listed in VA.

While we are on the topics of springers...

I have to share mine. I love her more than I ever thought I could love a dog. She is wonderful with the horses and loves going to the barn.

Ignore the pictures from her mispent youth. :D

I got her from a great friend (not in VA but a wonderful breeder nonetheless).
