I stay at home for offspring/stallions but I just got Paul Scholckemohle's DVD and Diarado is something! I know someone posted about him a while back - but WOW for this late to the party type

I agree he looks fabulous. On the other hand, I recieved the Sh. DVD today as well and it wont play on any of the computers or on any device in the house. As we have used/have semen from a # of the boys, I was SO excited to see new footage. BOOO HOO:sadsmile:

Uh Oh, Donella. I got the newest DVD and have not tried it yet. I have a super cheapo DVD player that usually plays everything!
I agree on Diarado, what a lovely horse. Good taste gals!

I've never been able to get the PS DVD's to play on a regular DVD player (and we have several). However, they work just fine on my hubby's X Box . Took a while to figure that one out.

Standard DVD players can have trouble playing European videos, but usually computer DVD players are able to play anything. Can't wait to watch mine.

The new dvd played fine on my mac. I am going to take home Furst Romancier to my barn..... and if he wont come with me I am going to take L'espoir.

I plan on using Diarado on 1 possibly 2 mares this year. His jump is unbeliveable and in a very nice package. I have heard some rumors about his first foals being on the small side. That doesn't bother me as my mares are good size and I don't like 17 + hand horses.

Usually they do play on my computer or the laptop and this one wont on either! I am so frustrated.
Has anyone seen the footage of Furst Romancier or Sir Donnerhall??

The footage of both looks to be about the same as last year (FR for sure).
I also really liked both Bordeaux and L'Espoir (or however you spell it).

You will need a PAL DVD player to play the DVDs. We purchased one at a specialty video store.

I was there last April and saw all the stallions. They were really pushing Diarado even then. I had no problems playing the disk while in Germany (at my cousin's house) but had to play it on my computer here in the states. But I noticed the same footage is on their website now, so you don't even need the disk. I fell in love with a young stallion (for a hunter) named Chaccamo--a son of Chacco Blue. I will be watching him closely!!

krfarms - I really liked Chaccamo as well (from the DVD) - glad to know that "saw him in person" endorsement!

I need to stay off this BB!!! Especially when you all post videos of such beautiful stallions like this guy- oh that elastic trot and the light front end in the jump and that hind end, oh! my poor mare better not reinjure herself or else she'll be in foal again and I'll have myself a breeding operation on my hands ;) He's absolutely gorgeous!!!

I'm curious, is Diarado *truly* black as he has a brown muzzle in some stills on PS website. Just discussing this with a good friend and we think black bay. I know folks who call their black bay horses black which irks me (biology major with minor in genetics) but I'm somewhat surprised to even think PS would call him black if he was not considering he's got a slew of black stallions.

I love Diarado! After much debate, I decided to pass him up for my Cassini II in favor of Calido I...but there is always next year. ;)
