Doesn't that start this week? Isn't the inital approvals today or is it tomorrow? With the 10 day testing starting the day after the initial approvals?

If it WAS today does anyone know what the results were?

TIA!

I am very curious too about the Stallion Inspection in Fla. Where is the ten day test being held?

That's the one that I'm talking about. It was in south fl somewhere (forgive me I was told the city but don't remember it off the top of my head).

This was going to be the first 10 day format and I know that the day before the actual test started they would have an inspection... I have a friend that was presenting her stallion and I have totally lost track of days (too much vacation and sick time lately).

I just checked the ISR/OLD NA site and the Inspection was today at Lady Jean Ranch in Jupiter, FLA. The test begins tomorrow. Would really like to be there to see how it is going. Looks very challenging to me!

We have a stallion participating, and there are only 6 horses total. They are all dressage horses. Today was the jog, and tomorrow it is training on your own. Saturday is free jumping and showing of the gaits on the big track. Will try to post updates!

He wasn't mine - he was a friend's of mine. Unfortunatly he wasn't approved. :( His owner didn't say if any of the other stallions were approved or not and I didn't ask. Would still love to know!

I am keeping fingers crossed for a friend as well and have not heard a peep. Does anyone know if any new stallions were approved at yesterdays ISR/OLD NA Inspection? Best of luck to the six who have begun today....

Does anyone know what levels they have to perform at for each age for each sport?

No new stallions approved that I know of. As far as what level of tests they need to perform, every horse must do the FEI 4 year old test, and in addition, the 6 year old horses do the 5 year old test, with the exception of our 6 year old, who will do the 6 year old test. The one 7 year old will do the 6 year old test as well. Tomorrow is the free jumping at 10am and then their gaits will be judged out on the track at 1pm. Will keep you posted!

Soo...you can do two discipline tests if you want? I'm just thinking how, at the 100DT, the top stallions tend to be good at jumping AND dressage. It would be nice, if your stallion were talented at both (or if you just wanted two shots at it, hee hee) to be ABLE to pass in two categories. I would think the owners of eventing stallions in particular would want to do this.

Does anyone understand the scoring system? The scores listed didn't line up with the placings.

I second capricorn

does anyone know what score was required to "pass" ?

We looked at sending Coronado WW to the test but in the end the cost was quite a lot and with mares foaling at home I really couldn't be away.

We did complete his performance requirements for the BWP in Feb. @ 1.30 and 1.40 so we will probably just stick to that registry. Now I can play with him in the A/O jumpers :D
