My friend and fellow horsewoman is in urgent need of some COTH jingles. Diane was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and started chemo treatments a little over a week ago. Her body is not handling it well at all. Just got word that she is in ICU over in Seattle. Please send some jingles her way. She is a super nice person, always willing to give a hand and nary a snarky bone in her body. Thanks!

definitely sending jingles. My dad was just diagnosed with the same and started chemo about a week ago. I hope that your friend pulls through.

ok guys, i know this subject too damn well. dh is in remission from richter's lymphoma going on three years. the chemo he had was called chop-r and gave him incredible rigors the first time. but--it worked and he is in remission.
this friday he finishes chemo again for his leukemia, and that also went poorly at the start. but he adjusted and feels dang good.
so, hell yeah, jingles work!!! here are a ton of them and hugs--this is a scary time, but so many not only survive but thrive--prayers for your friend to have the same outcome.

Thanks everyone, keep those jingles coming! Diane is doing slightly better today. She's still in ICU, but at least the MRI on her brain came back negative. Unfortunately she still can't carry on a conversation and is hallucinating.

Serious jingles from here. How people tolerate chemo is so individual; sorry she is having a hard time with it and hope it improves quickly.

Diane has improved over the weekend. Her white cell count is going up every day.
She is still confused but her blood work is getting better. She is off all ICU
machines.

Keep those jingles coming, they seem to be working!
