beagle in Atl needs home(Home Found)

I have a really cute year old female beagle that needs a new home. She actually belongs to my neighbors but has been coming over to my farm and last night they asked me if I wanted her. She lives in a crappy fence (which she easily squeezes under) with goats and an old blind lab cross. They actually are getting rid of all their animals, so if you want some goats let me know. She is an interesting blue merle color with the usual tan beagle patches. I'm keeping her at my farm for awhile to see if I can rehome her. I have several cats and she shows no interest in them other than being a little wary. She is used to living outside so should make a good farm dog but could easily convert to the comforts of life inside. I'll shoot some pics of her tomorrow.

What a little cutie-pie...have never seen a beagle with that coloring before! Did a cattle dog get into the woodpile with mom maybe?

My daughter did a little beagle research and discovered that she is a blue-ticked beagle. This color is more prevelant in dogs bred to hunt. After spending a whole day at my farm and seeing lots of people, she is starting to feel comfortable around here. She is enjoying all the attention and is starting to blossom. My farrier's wife and young son were here and she loved them. She especially loved the little boy. She really needs a family to love. This is a great dog.

A stray Beagle wandered up to my farm and they both were very helpful and listed him on their websites. Very nice folks.

What is going to happen to the poor blind lab mix?

He is still living with the goat herd. The beagle was only a year old so he has known the goats much longer than the beagle. Suprisingly the two dogs really didn't interact much. I feel sorry for him but I don't think he would adjust well if he was moved.
