Looking for a good, forever home for Sachem, 3/13/1997 TB gelding. 16.1hh, dark brown, almost black, very handsome. Sachem has some arthritis in his front fetlocks, which has never bothered him (even eventing), but last year he also sustained a deep digital flexor injury to his right hind, just above the fetlock. That has healed well but left him only sound enough for pasture and perhaps walk hacks. He does not need to be limited in his pasture activities, and is currently out 24/7 in a group of 5 including a donkey and a young mare. He is good with other horses - a little dominant but will not beat them up. Sachem raced a lot, and earned $116K. He is by Pembroke out of a Linkage mare, in case you're curious. Sachem is *extremely* intelligent, funny, interactive and a huge personality. He could probably be trained to do all kinds of tricks! He's good for the farrier (currently barefoot), has good ground manners, has no vices, no colics or other illness. He's located in Berryville, VA 22611. Please contact me for more info at redmoonfarm @ msn.com (remove spaces). Thanks, Yvonne.
