I know I'm asking a lot here, but figured it couldn't hurt to try. I'm looking to add another horse to my small private lesson program (dressage and hunters). I need a horse who can carry a beginner adult w/t/c and that is sound enough to hop over some crossrails. My biggest lesson "horse" is 14.2 and I'm really needing something bigger for the adults that keep calling me!
I keep my beginners on a lunge line with no reins until they are capable of riding without balancing on their hands, I never let my school horses suffer under their rider and they are all still sensitive to leg, rein, and weight aids after years of being a schoolie so I think that says something. Age and breed don't matter, the horse just needs to be as quiet and safe as can be reasonably expected from a horse. I can promise a very good home and can provide references. Also open to a free lease situation. My temporary website is here: www.freewebs.com/flyingheartsfarm

Are you looking for something totally free?

Did you take a look at the free horses in Western NY?? Here on this forum.

Yes, it says the 2 TB mares are still green and the experienced lesson horse is smaller than I am looking for. Thanks for thinking of it though. :)

"Free Lease or Free to good home 15 y/o Gelding, CT " sounds like a possibility if the volume of lessons is not huge?

Best of luck.

Hi, thanks for looking out for me, but in that ad it states "He would do best as a weekend/guest/husband horse." So I don't it would be a good match. I do need something sound and it seems that he has some hock issues.
