Bennett is a 9 year old Thoroughbred gelding, 16.2HH & Dark Bay with no chrome. He came off the track at the end of the '07 season and has some training, w/t/c. He's been popped over cross rails and small baby courses, free jumped up to 3' and has cute even square hunter knees and knows how to longe thoroughly. Hacks well alone or in company, in woods or open fields, loves to play in water. Real level headed guy, he's been ridden through a field of baby bunnies!
Right now he's a pasture puff and out 24/7, he's an easy easy keeper, just needs a round bale and he digs in. Bennett is also sound! We have had issues with his back previously due to an ill fitting saddle but that's the only soundness problems in the two years I've owned him. The only vice he has is he's a cribber (but doesn't chew wood or eat fences), cribbing almost dissapears when out 24/7. Up to date on everything (wormers, vacs, feet and teeth). Loads like a dream, trailers well, baths, ties and stands for the farrier.
I had a personal emergency this month and can not keep a horse any longer! However, I will only settle for a great home.
Offering a free lease but I'm open for discussion, he does not need to stay in Ontario
