Requesting COTH jingles and energy for my oldest brother, Pete. He is enroute to the VA Hospital in Utah for a 2nd heart procedure to hopefully resolve Atrial Fibrillation - AFib (irregular hearbeat).

He has the same condition as our late father which can not be resolved by using a pace maker. He has been through the normal diet/exercise and medications route. Which worked for several years, but the condition returned.

Two years ago he had the Plumonary Vein antrum isolation procedure done. He almost died during recovery but was able to return home (CO). Fortunately the AFib was resolved for a period of time.

The AFib has returned and he will have Ablation of the AV Node which resolves the issue for 90% of patients. We are hoping he will be part of the 90% and not the 10%. This time our youngest brother will be with him at the VA hospital.

The procedure is scheduled for 8am MT 02/20/09.

Thanks all

Thanks for all of the jingles!

He is out of 5+ hour surgery. Other brother, John, states Pete is alert and of course uncomfortable from the surgery. Good news - the Doctors & staff are watching him carefully given his last visit.

Amazing thing is he may be released tomorrow or Sunday!

Thanks again!
