Diva is a 16.1 h chestnut Hannoverian/TB mare. She is 23 years old, but still going strong. I am looking for a new home for her because I am pregnant and don't have much time for her. She is trained in dressage to about first/second level. She has a fabulous trot, her canter is big and can be unbalanced but she can do walk/canter transitions and is learning canter/walk. She can do leg yields, shoulder-in, haunches-in, half-pass and nice lengthened trots.
Diva is not a bombproof horse and needs an intermediate rider. She also can be nervous on the ground and tends to get herd-bound. Other than that she is very sweet and has a great work ethic. She has never been shown or trail ridden much, but likes to work in the ring. She is not mean, just can be a little pushy with personal space on the ground and under saddle will spook on occasion.
She really doesn't look or feel her age. She is sound with no health issues. She does need shoes on all four feet and I give her a hoof supplement, but other than that she is pretty low maintenance. I can send pics if anyone is interested.
I would consider a free lease or a permanent placement to the right home. She is located near Madison, WI.
