As some of you may have seen on the national news, A plane carrying 44 passengers and 4 crew members crashed into a house late last night. There were no survivors on the plane, and one man was killed on the ground. A woman and her daughter were injured on the ground but have since been released from the hospital.

This plane crash was only miles from my home, and my close riding friend's father was on this flight. Please, if you could keep him and the family, as well as all the others who were aboard that flight in your prayers, it would mean alot.

So, so sorry to hear about the crash. Prayers for all.

I was riding last night about 6 PM - the barn I board at is under a major flight path into the Rochester NY airport and I heard a plane coming in very low and had one of those idle thoughts about how my spooky TB would react if a plane actually crashed nearby....

Jingling for your friend and her family. Incredibly sad.

I know that neighborhood very, very well and am still reeling from the shock of it all.

Many jingles for your friend and her family...

My husband's co-worker's friend was on the flight; I've been watching for the complete list of passengers to come out because the way Buffalo is, I'm really nervous about seeing a name I recognize too. Many prayers for the victims and their families... absolutely horrible all around.

Oh, I know. Buffalos such a "big small town" that even more and more people we know are going to be coming out of the woodwork. Tragic stories are also coming out, such as the Widow from 911 that was on her way to Canisus High School to present a scholarship in honor of her late husband, a girl (and I use the term girl because she was still so young) who was engaged to be married this weekend. So tragic. Godspeed to all of them, and prayers to their families

It's a real tragedy.. the plane crashed about 5 minutes away from my barn, and about a half mile from a good friend's house. There are at least 5 barns within 10 minutes of the crash site, it's a very horsey area. We hope people are able to get through this  .

Just have to say.... gigantic kudos to all the emergency personnel and town government. Seems it has been handled exceptionally well, right from the get go. Incredibly impressive.

Clarence center is truly small town America-- quaint, peaceful, neighbors know each other and help each other out at the drop of a hat. Just a good place to be, really.

Truly a tragic event and my heart goes out to the victims, the families, and this very close-knit community whose reality is forever changed.
