I adopted a little munchkin 2 years ago this past tuesday. He was purchased for the sole purpose of being a pasture puff and companion for my mare; however I figured I would let him grow into himself a bit and just see what happens. He is by far not the best put together little rug rat, but he is pretty darn decent for a little "oops baby":lol:
He turned 4 sometime last fall, but we "celebrated" his official birthday on tuesday. and with all this warm weather hitting us, i decided to change things up a bit and see what he could do. He has been going w/t/c under saddle and on the lunge pretty solidly for the past 6months-year or so. I also ground drive him on a pretty regular basis (he has a cart, but is still waiting for a harness before he really starts driving). Overall he is a pretty decent pony. Not the flashiest by any means, but darn cute enough to cart some little girl around a hunter/pleasure course:winkgrin:
so after our short ride yesterday I decided to set up my little free jumping chute and give it a go. He loved it! and I was giggling the whole time.. He got the whole idea quickly and made my job easy by just coming back to me each time. hopefully we can get him going with a rider soon and find him a little SS rider for the year. :yes:
the video is not the best quality, but I was on my own and had to make due with my old camera and a fence post.

what do you think of him? I hope that you guys at least get a good chuckle out of him plodding along ;] I will try to get better quality shots tomorrow

we gave it another go today. oh I am just tickled pink with his cuteness :lol: lol I cant WAIT to get a little kiddie on him!! only if i could find a brave little sole ;] lol
