In my Celle calendar for 2008 the October calendar boy is a stallion called Perigueux. He is by Perpignon (also Pilot, Stakkato and Akzent 11 in his pedigree).

He appears to be a modern day type, overjumping the jump, but with a great bascule, knees up to his chin. Does anybody know him? Celle must like him or they wouldn't have picked him as a calendar boy in a calendar mostly dedicated to dressage stallions.

I would like to know more about this stallion as well.

A quick check on Horse-Gate seemed to indicate he was highly esteemed.

I am not aware of anyone that has used his frozen semen so that would be a risk.

Last Year I have seen quite a lot of foals by him at the local foal show. All very very pretty (same as dad) and astonishingly with really nice movement. Loose, elastic and lots of swing. Good enough for an ammy dressage horse. I definetely put him on thelist of to watch out for stallions. I have somewhere pictures of himself at a show. i would need to search for the link I think I put them onto Photoucket once.
