Does anyone know of current or up coming web-based stallion auctions featuring pony stallions?

Pony Stallions from time to time will be featured in a fund raising auction or occasionally another "good cause" benefit, but those will be advertised. You don't find just pony stallions listed in an auction by themselves.

There were two Connemara stallions offered in the Midwest Breeders Group Auction, but that has since ended. What breed are you looking for?

The only one I've seen ponies in, is the sport horse Arab one. Daventry Farm has both of her boys offered in that one. I haven't seen any others with ponies in them.

I don't know of any auction specifically for pony stallions. However, Popeye is available at the NEDA auction. We have Wicked Courtjester listed with the ISR/Oldenburg Registry auction along with Popeye again, Champion's Devito and Stibby Me.

Last year the welsh society had one. I have not heard of it happening again this year, but I don't know for sure. maybe someone else knows?
In the past, I dontated a breeding for auction to NCAA Division 1 Equestrian college riders (bought by fellow COTH'er JSalem!) I would have donated one this year to Va Tech's vet school auction, but they are not having one this year either.
I expect other stallion owners are similiar-- every now and again, you will find them on various auction causeways.

I was very involved in putting together the Welsh stallion service auction last year, and to my knowledge, there is not going to be one this year.

It sounds as though it might be a bot tough to find a pony stallion auction. I wonder why, I know we would love to be involved. We enjoy donating our full-sized stallion services to an auction or two each year.
If you're looking for savings, what about Early Booking discounts? We're offering considerable savings on each of ours, I'm sure other breeders must have similar offers.

We have Stibby-Me (Sweet Rock Solid) in the Oldenburg stallion service auction. His opening bid is $300, fresh semen, no booking fee. He is approved for Weser-Ems (Oldenburg Sport Pony) breeding.

Yes, I am keeping my eye on early booking discounts. I know I am running out of time! As a warmblood breeder, I love to use the stallion auctions...such a win-win situation. I normally get breedings to USEF top sires for half price or less this way. But, pony stud fees are very reasonable, so I am not in too much of a hurry. I want to do my research first.
Thanks to all

I was looking for breeding to donate a couple breeding to my Section A Welsh too, but didn't have any luck :( I wish NASPR would do a stallion service auction, it seems like all the major breed registries are doing them now, and NASPR is growing. Hopefully that will happen in the future.

We donated a breeding to our Stallion Wildwych Eclipse* (ACPS, ISR/Old NA Sport Pony and WESER Ems approved) to a private auction to support a Therapuetic Riding Program we believe in. We will also participate in our regional breed assoc. silent auction.

And our Alvesta Picasso stud fee just sold to an Arabian mare owner! :D

My Lipizzan stallion is 15h and would be suitable for a pony mare. I haven't seen any pony auctions. The Lipizzan registry isn't running one this either. My prices are much less for non-Lipizzans and I have early discounts, 10% by end of Feb.
