Horsecrazy,
See your thread on Radikal for more details, but this colt is absolutely incredible. Please feel free to PM if you need anything further. We'll have some photos and video in the next week or so. Took Diamond swimming today - will try to post a photo tomorrow...

He sounds wonderful. What a great pedigree for dressage. I adore Diamond Hit! Hope he is presented for Oldenburg (GOV) licensing at some point!

I saw him as a foal in Germany on his breeder's farm. Very nice colt. I also saw his mother and she is a beautiful mare. He has great bloodlines. I haven't seen him since he was a foal though.

Diamondhead was licensed with RPSI book I last fall earning scores of 8/9/9 for his gaits.
He is currently being started and will be shown under saddle in California as early as MARCH. He won USDF Horse of the Year for 2 year old colts last year and I have HIGH hopes for him as a riding horse this year.
We will present him for GOV this year and maybe for AHS depending his developement over the next 6 months. I may choose to wait antoher year for AHS to give him the best possible chance. Another HOY title wouldn`t hurt him there, I think...
We will have an online video of him by this weekend. I just started advertising him and I`m truely overwhelmed by the respose.

I'm so glad you joined in as I didn't want to speak for you.

Diamondhead has had a stellar show career under saddle this spring, he is a strong contender for the 3 year old Materiale horse of the year.
His rieability is unparalelled as can be seen on the video. see for yourselves!

He is exactly 16 hds now without shoes, still growing. He has grown an inch in the last 6 months and still doesn`t look finished. I`m positive he`ll make it to 16,1 at least, he is only 3 years old.
Guessing size is a gamble.
I had one stallion reach 17 hds as a 3 year old, we were quite concerned. He never grew another milimeter.
One of his sons was barely over 16 hds as a 3 year old, he grew to 16.3 hds by the time he was 6, took him that long!

My, he's lovely - and incredibly mature and charming undersaddle. Very best wishes with him! (and, as a breeder, I find his bloodlines very exciting ... hope he gets approved Hanoverian - if not GOV works too).
Enjoy the ride!!:)

Thanks Marion - making that video was a blast. He was such a professional at the beach with that huge goofy dress billowing around his legs.
Sunnydays, he will be presented, but I'm not sure whether this year or next. He's a long term partner, so want to give him all the time he needs..

This is probably slightly more helpful... these are the results I could find from Devon
3yo colts and geldings; 69.5%, 10th place
Suitable to become a dressage horse 3 yo; 2nd place
3yo Materiale; 72.9%, 4th place
Hanoverian, 3 and older; 76.3%, 2nd place

I had the pleasure of meeting Diamondhead and Jessica at Devon - what a gorgeous and well adjusted stallion - amongst all that activity, he and his rider just kept working - incredible for such a young horse. Definitely a stallion to keep in mind for 2010.
On a side note - it is refreshing to meet a young trainer with such complete dedication to her horses, their training and overall well being.
