$70 dollar Ovation paddock boots for $15- don't need yet and wasn't looking for, but boots don't go bad sitting around while I wear out my current pair
$70 dollar shipping boots for $30- I was kind of looking for these, but the ones I have are fine...
$60 dollar Lettia pad for $10- just added because shipping was 9 and this put me into free shipping, but still.

I got $200 dollars worth of stuff for $54 with free shipping.

Please, please, someone buy all those Harry Hall breeches and gingham ribbon trim pony saddle pads. I am going to vomit if I have to see them in the sale room for another year. ;)

I am guessing Joe Q., the boot guy on Route 30 would charge about $50 to cut down boots, maybe a bit more. I don't know if someone else could be cheaper.

Last time I went to Heritage (a few weeks ago), they had a ton of Ariats in the closeout room, at 30% off and more. Mostly clogs and sandals, but some paddock boots and tall boots too.

Awesome find, thank you for posting!

I just spent $60ish on nothing I needed, but it felt good! Two jackets, two vests, one lead rope and the microfiber pad.

I'm super bummed the only Ariat field boots are tall. I could have used a back up pair but alas, I'm 5'3" and haven't ever bought anything "tall" except for stuff for my horses :)

Ariat tall boots, 3 saddle pads, the Barnstormer boots, a kid's fleece shirt, and some long underwear. $118. Wow.

Anybody have the barnstormer boots? They looked nice but I could not find anything online about them. I figured for $20, they are a deal regardless. Are they the riding type athletic shoe with the stiff sole, or just "around the barn" boots?

Bummer, I just talked to them and they said they have not updated the website and they don't know, but I probably didn't get the Ariats. They said they are sold out of a bunch of things. I guess we just have to wait and see if we get order confirmations.

Ambrey, give the store a call. They always have items in the closeout room that are not listed on the site.

I bought three Masta blankets, a pair of Ovation paddock boots, the Barnstormer boots, a pair of Davis bell boots, two boxes of Leaning Tree Christmas cards and a dosing syringe for $202.00.

If you are on their mailing list, you got a coupon for an extra $5.00 off.

The Barnstormer boots are for around the barn. They have a thicker sole then I care to ride in. I bought them to wear to work on those snowy days and they have kept my feet warm and dry this week. Good traction too.

Oh, ya'll...I DO wear a tall in Ariats, and they have my size for $49.99. Ariats fit my feet very well, but I'm sort of picky about boots and like their models w/ the cobalt innards in paddock boots...

What's the scoop on the Heritage? (Although I'm so sure I should ask questions, for that price?)

Edited to say: Whatever. I bought them.

hum, I am also tempted by the exselle bridle $199 to $49 sounds like a good deal, and I do want to get my youngster a new bridle to play in.

But, I am trying to be frugal, and I do have a bridle I can use... and I would like to get her a padded one, but double raised does sound neat..

So... should I get it it? I don't know! I have put it in my basket and taken it out twice now!!

Thanks... I think... I just spent some money... but those blanket deals were really sweet... and free shipping... and I have two horses without blankets and one with a ripped blanket, so now everybody will have blankets when it gets down to frigid temps...

I wasn't quite sure if this was more of a medium weight or more of a heavyweight... I usually don't blanket most of my guys unless it gets really cold (like under 20F or with a bad wind chill-- about the coldest we get is a temp of 0F and windchill of -10F) If anybody is familiar do you think it would be warm enough?

The Exselle bridles are decent - i bought one a couple years ago and it has held up well - being used 4-5 times a week during that time. We got the darker colored one, and after oiling, it a dark brown color.

However, the other bridle they have listed, is a padded bridle, with fancy stitching - this is a really nice one! The girl at the store told me it was a Union Hill one - a friend had bought one a year ago, and its really nice! It's got a detachable flash nose band. There is a small leather loop that goes around the nose band that the flash attaches to. The loop is buttoned on, so it completely removes and you have just a standard nose band.

So, either way, you can't go wrong with either one of these, both are good deals. And I'd say you could use either one for a show bridle.

Thanks for the info. Decisions, decisions!!! The horse in question is a dark bay (looks black) TB. How does fancy stiched look on a horse with a smaller head? Does anyone know how the full sizes run on the Exselle or the other (Union Hill) bridles? My guy's head is small but a cob doesn't see to fit him in the browband.

I called and spoke to a very nice lady about the bridles on sale. She was very helpful describing the bridles to me and she thought the Exselle bridle would be better for a hunter. So I ordered one and an Ariat vest for $65!

I just hope the bridle fits my boy as he's kind of between a cobb and a horse size. If it fits, then I will have to find a Exselle martingale.

I saw that my stuff was out for delivery today... and I was eager to get home and see what was here and what wasn't. Before I got home, I got a very nice email telling me that they had been overwhelmed, etc. They had personally written out what was coming (it didn't look like a spreadsheet had been copied and pasted, is what I mean). I didn't really expect the whole order to be filled, with everyone shopping at those prices. I was missing a halter, lead rope (ok, I don't have a horse anyway so I don't have any trouble catching him) and breeches. I received 2 pairs of boots, some breeches, and my Exselle fancy stitched bridle which is BEAUTIFUL. I can't stop touching it. If anyone has any pointers on what to do with a brand new bridle, as far as care, please let me know. And it would look great on a dark bay bombproof beauty so if you live in the Richmond, VA area, I'd *ahem* love to let him wear my bridle while I ride him. Hope everyone gets what they want! I ordered again on Sunday but I don't have my hopes up about that getting filled.

Just today (5 days later) I received an e-mail telling me due to being overwhelmed with orders, I would only be receiving 1 item out of the 3 that I ordered - too late to cancel my order since it arrived today. Ended up paying more in shipping than the one thing that I did get.

I wish they would have notified me before the order went out as I would have cancelled it. Also, the other items that I ordered (but did not receive) were still listed as in-stock on the website yesterday. Oh well.

I got my first shipment today - a pair of the Ovation paddock boots and Ariat denim riding pants. The pants make me feel fat - it is officially time for a diet. :) The Ovation boots are fine ... I had ordered a pair of tall boots and they ran out. I'm really, really disappointed as I wanted those for riding around here.. Oh well!

I still love me a good sale. :)

I got my first shipment in yesterday!
Thought the Ovation Paddock boots and Ariat Vest were a FANTASTIC deal! Wow.

Ahh! None of my Sunday order was filled (it was one of everything that I didn't get the first time...). But I still love the stuff that I got. My Ariat denim breeches don't really fit either. Maybe in another month or so but even then I doubt they will be flattering. Luckily I didn't need them anyway. I can't wait to use the Exselle bridle on someone's horse!

well, I just got my email... I am not getting anything... :( oh well, at those prices it really was first come, first served.
The email I received was very polite, personal, and sincerely apologetic. I would gladly buy from them again, as I have in the past.

Just got home to my order. Two pairs of Paddock Boots, zip and lace, I think the zip are more comfy which is funny as I HATED zips before! I got a Lettia pad, a purple halter for my daughter's horse and a pink pair of polos for my daughter's horse. My total was 52.95 and I got over $250 retail of stuff! I didn't get the breyer soaps X2, thought those would be neat to do with Taylor, oh well and didn't get the leads but got an email that they were sending the leads from another warehouse? Not sure why they would do that on 2 2.99 leads, but we'll see!

No paddock boots or shipping boots for me:( Just a polo shirt. Which is still cool, I like the shirt, but it sucks because I *needed* the other stuff. I wonder if they'll try to charge me for shipping now, since my one item doesn't top $50?

The Lettia L7 Pad is really nice.. I almost would have paid retail price ($50) for it! If I'd know it was going to be such a quality pad, I would have bought more than one.

I got half my order - paddock boots and denim breeches. Both fit well (I knew I needed to go up a size in breeches and was honest with myself for a change when ordering!)... I didn't get the vest or the saddle pad, but I didn't actually need those. The halved order came to only $30, but they still gave me free shipping... I feel like I hit the jackpot!

I got half my order too - but half is better than nothing so I am happy. Only those of you who got the Barnstormer boots - I HATE you

I received the Exselle bridle yesterday but the Ariat vest I added to my order to get over $50 was not in stock. It doesn't appear they charged me for shipping but I haven't checked my credit card yet.

I sure hope the bridle fits my guy...I will try it tomorrow.
