Anyone know this guy?

http://www.oldorchardhorses.com

I have a friend looking around down there and, knowing I am from the area, asked me if I knew him. I'd never heard of him..

Anyone have any knowledge/insight about this guy? The facility looks nice enough!

Yes, I have a question. How did the court case turn out? Did any of this actually happen? (This is from the other thread.)

Well girls:

I just got off the phone with the man himself, and his lawyer has left word with the chronicle and this post will be deleted tomorrow and charges are going to be pressed....against the parties responsible.

In a finanacial situation, ANY written statement that is harmful to ANY business is called Liabel.. It's punishable by up to 7 years in jail. Whoever orginally started this in for a rude awakening... Danielle and JJ, you are both in a HUGE amount of trouble!!

You are both going to be hauled into jail for all your lies!!

No one believe any of this immaturity. It will be handled in an adult way. You will both go to jail for LYING!

Are Danielle and JJ actually girls (minors)? Surely you weren't threatening to sue minors? It was weird that you kept calling them "girls."

TOo much lying and jealousy. Blessed are the PEACE MAKERS. Not blessed are the trouble makers, and the liars. I would buy anything from Mr. Moore on his word. I plan to continue doing business with him. All of you really need to stop lying and trying to cause problems because you are jealous. I will tell you the truth... DO not believe the lies you are reading here. That's quite a circular statement you've got going on there. Is this a riddle? Is it too early for a libation so I can make sense of it?

What normal person posts hateful posts on the internet? Your post was pretty hateful, so....how's that "normal" thing workin' for ya?

The entire thread is hilarious, but if you don't have that much time:

If you click on the number of posts (in the case of that thread: 1000), a window will pop up with each participating poster's name in descending order, based on how many times s/he posted on that thread.

Click on the post number next to the name, and you will go to just that person's posts, so you don't have to wade through the other 950 or so.

Her posting name is pretty obvious, but she only posted a few times, so it will be towards the bottom of the list.

"Heat.her" is not actually a name she chose for herself. ;)

Wait, wait, is this guy in Orangeburg? His farm or his home?
I just happen to have relatives there and might want to go visit them. Taking camera of course.

OK so he owes $ to someone on this thread? Have you filed against him in small claims court up there? If not, see if you can downlioad the forms as some South Carolina counties have the forms on line for your convenience. Then you just pay the filing fee and sue him and add "court costs" to the amt he already owes you.

Orangeburg? Hmmmmmm road trip maybe coming up. Mother just went to visit my aunt a few weeks ago.

Huntjump, cancel the flyover if the farm is in Orangeburg. I can find it there. (Now to find my crayola posse costume and suit up!)

You know if enough of you get together with your horse purchases from him, you could hire Mr. Wyatt of the referenced lawfirm on, is it the other thread about the farm? and file a class action suit. Saves time and expenses are split between all of you.

If you have dealt with this farm or have purchased from them, please PM me. I was looking at some of their horses and thinking ....

Will not go into details dont want trouble. Just want people to beware of this guy he is not what he clams to be nor is his
horses they all come directly from the auctions. Its possible you could get a good deal but the history of the horses are unknown.

He also gets his horses from unexpecting people who think he will provide them a forever home and then turns around and sells them. I talked to my mares breeder and she gave her to Old Orchard for free after he ensured her he would keep her. She was sickened by the condition she was in.

No he's not in Anderson, he owes too many people money. Now that I've lived here 2 years I've met many people who have had bad dealings with him both in and out of the horse industry.

So glad I get to be a local "source" of a trainwreck! Carry on...

Geez, when I was looking for a horse I saw a couple on his website...1st horse (could never get any info on it), 2nd horse sold in 20 min....now I'm glad they never worked out!

I met him once when I was looking at a horse for a friend. He seemed nice and personable - the type of person you think you could trust. My friend passed on the horse - thank goodness. Yikes.

You would have had to de-ice! It is cold out there and lots of ice on wings.
OK where is the dude? Is it the address in orangeburg and are those his parents who also live there?

Huntjump, maybe a flyover to check out the horses? I cannot believe those "quick" sales on all the horses listed.

OH oh I was searching other threads for "thomson" and found the one where hannomerci lost her money on the horse.

These horses are rarely sold outside the state, most are still local to unsuspecting novice owners who wants to buy their crossrails poopsie child a fancy warmblood and ends up being grossly misrepresenting needing months of training and/or vet bills to show the local shows.. if they don't make it to craigslist at a much reduced price first.

We've been doing a lot more local shows lately and have seen quite a few out there.

If anyone cares to visit dear Thompson if you can make it past the ice you are welcome for popcorn and margaritas at my house.. I have an adorable Corgi puppy that loves to share kisses with strangers!

Had an interesting encounter with this guy last month. My spin would be if you get sucked into something in his window get it vetted..... Albeit he represents what appears to be some fancy young horses on his videos, but, they are also very inexpensive which was my first concern... Would love to hear from someone legitimate that has purchased from him.

bellfordfarms and MooreThanSpecial do not share an IP address with anyone posting to this or other threads at this time.

As the thread is getting into personal commentary (we removed a recent post) and unverifiable accusations, we're going to close it.

UPDATE: Our apologies for not being able to determine earlier, but bellfordfarms does in fact share an IP address with a recently created account "ThomsonMoore" as well as "ilovemyhorses87."

Thanks,
